Blue

THE COLOR BLUE

Blue is the color of the ocean and the sky, and one of the three primary colors of pigments in painting and traditional color theory, as well as in the RGB color model. Complex and contradictory, blue has numerous meanings and colloquialisms associated with it: “I’ve been feeling kind of blue” or “She is a true blue friend”. And, there are many varied and beloved shades of blue, my personal favorite being turquoise.
