Handcrafted original Feather jewelry. Appearing in centuries-old legends as symbols of good luck, the four-leaf clovers were Celtic charms, presumed to offer magical protection and ward off bad luck. In the early days of Ireland, Druid Priests considered finding it an omen of good things to come and believed that when they carried a three-leaf clover or shamrock, they could see evil spirits coming and have a chance to escape in time. In Christianity the clover’s three leaves represent the Holy Trinity; The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. The extra leaf stands for God’s grace. Children in the Middle Ages believed if they carried a four-leaf clover, they would be able to see plant sprites and fairies. Four-leaf clovers symbolize faith, hope, love, and luck.
